Michelle Beckman's Bio

 

 

 

 

Michelle obtained her undergraduate degree from New York University in 1987 with a BS in Finance and International Business.  She then earned her JD from Tulane University College of Law and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1992.

 

Michelle practiced corporate law at Shearman & Sterling, LLC in New York City. In 1996, she moved to Columbus, Ohio to join Squire, Sanders & Dempsey, LLC, and then later served as in house attorney in the real estate division of The Limited, Inc. (L Brands) until 2003. 

 

Although she enjoyed corporate legal work, Michelle knew what she really wanted to do was work to help people and organizations grow.  She completed a 3-year post-graduate training program at the Gestalt Institute of Central Ohio in 2003 and then joined the consulting group, ‘Business of People’ as an organizational consultant.

 

Michelle has worked in a wide variety of organizations; from manufacturing to health care systems, small family businesses to large multi-national corporations.  She cares deeply about the work, the people and the organizations that have generously trusted her to be a part of their developmental journey.
